J. Riley’s core values are: Boldness, Positivity, Authenticity, and Consistency….Heavy on the consistency, because whether in person or online, we will deliver the same level of Clique Care to each and every customer we encounter. We are passionate about improving the lives of women and are fully aware of the level of importance that amazing customer service plays in our daily interactions. That’s where YOU come in because once you become a member of the Clique, basically….we go together…real bad!! And because of that we have to treat each OTHER right, okay?
So there’s a few things, a lil housekeeping if you will, that you should know:
1. Baby, this is a lot of work. Jamila is the lead designer and creator of ALL the J. Riley pieces that you see listed. And not only is she stocking the website, she is stocking her brick and mortar space, J. Riley Studio, located in Milwaukee, WI, throughout the week. We said all that to say…please be patient with us over here. She is hooking as fast as she can!!
2. Website stock vs. in-store stock are two different things!!!! This means that what is in the store is NOT online and vice versa (unless denoted otherwise).
3. J. Riley isn’t just a brand…it’s a movement…a lifestyle, if you will. So please know that if another Cliqué member sees you out and about, rocking your J. Riley pieces…they WILL shout you out, dap you up….maybe even meet you with an embrace, because this is a community where we specialize in loving on and uplifting one another. And if you happen upon a Cliqué member do not be afraid to yell out an “I see you”, loud and proud!! It’s what we do!!
RETURNS/REFUNDS/EXCHANGES
Unfortunately, all sales are final, as we have no way to confirm the validity of whether or not the earrings have been worn previously and…well…that’s just nasty. With that being said, please double check your purchases and read the print prior to paying. The only returns are in the event something breaks, and even then it will be repaired and returned to you…it’s a forever owner.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

The Cliqué
"The Clique” is a tight-knit (see what we did there? Crochet….knitwear….nevermind…I digress) community of people who share a passion for unique, one-of-a-kind fashions created by Jamila Riley. Members of The Clique vary in age, race, and socio-economic background but the one thing they have in common is that they like to stand out!! And although it is mainly comprised of women, there are some men who claim The Clique as their own, too. This is the one clique where EVERYONE is welcomed! Once you purchase a hand-crafted piece from J. Riley, you are IMMEDIATELY embraced in The Clique, and a life-long bond with like-minded individuals will be established. Developed both via social media/online platforms and in person, the sisterhood and camaraderie of The Clique is unmatched!! Please know that if another member spots you out and about….you will be greeted with a “I see you with your J. Rileys, sis” or an “OK, Clique” on sight!! Basically, you and all of your family and friends wanna be down with The Clique!!!

What type of yarn are the earrings/accessories made from?All J. Riley pieces are made with acrylic yarn, unless denoted in the description for specific items.

Are the earrings hypoallergenic?While the hook/jump ring findings on the earrings are nickel and lead free, the earrings created with posts and hoops are not guaranteed to be. If you have any allergies, please proceed with caution. We are in the process of looking for reputable wholesalers for all of our earring findings.

Are your earrings/accessories handmade?Each pair of J. Riley earrings and J. Riley accessories are handmade. Currently, there is one creator who produces all of the crochet items. Y’all, please be patient with her!!

Are your earrings/accessories water resistant?J. Riley pieces are made out of acrylic, acrylic blend, and/or cotton yarns which makes them safe to get wet.

How long will it take to receive my pieces?After your order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging your request. Please allow 7-10 business days for processing and delivery of your order. If you have not received said order by day 11, feel free to email us at heysis@iamjriley.com to inquire.

Can I wash my J. Riley earrings/accessories?You absolutely can (and should) wash your J. Riley earrings and accessories. Hand washing vs. machine washing is suggested, using a mild soap/detergent, sponge, and warm water. Lay flat to dry.

Do you take custom orders?Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate custom pieces at this current time. However, this is a feature we hope to be able to add in the future!

Do you offer wholesale or bulk orders?Wholesale and/or bulk orders can be accommodated, depending on the style and timeframe between when they are needed vs. when they’re requested. Please email heysis@iamjriley.com to submit your request.

How do I store my J. Riley earrings?Whatever you do, don’t just shove them in a bag, sis!!! These are works of art and should be treated as such. We suggest that they be hung on an earring tree or wall. However, if this is not a possibility, a rubbermaid bin or storage box will suffice.

Can I put my pieces into the washing machine?CAN you put them into the washing machine….Yes. Do we suggest it….NO!!!! Hand-washing is the preferred method of cleaning. Please see the care directions.

Aw snap!!! My earring broke!! What should I do?Listen…things happen. We recognize that. So if for some reason your earring should happen to break (within 6 months of purchase), email us at heysis@iamjriley.com for next steps. We will fix it free of charge.
